Terms of Service

Effective date: July 18, 2026. These terms govern your use of sieexamprep.com (“the service”), operated by SIE Exam Prep (“we,” “us”). By using the site, you agree to them. The plain-language summary: this is an educational study tool, the content is ours, and the one thing we absolutely cannot allow is anyone posting actual exam content.

Who may use the service

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. (FINRA requires candidates to be 18 or older to sit for the SIE® exam itself, but you may study earlier.) You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your credentials secure; activity under your account is your responsibility.

Educational purposes only

Everything on this site (practice questions, explanations, study guides, comparisons) is provided for educational purposes only. It is not legal, financial, tax, or investment advice, and it is not career counseling. Practice scores and readiness estimates are study aids, not predictions: we do not guarantee that you will pass any exam.

Our content and your license

All practice questions, explanations, and study materials on this site are original works created by us, based on the public FINRA SIE Content Outline and public rules and releases. They are protected by copyright. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own exam preparation. You may not copy, scrape, republish, resell, or redistribute the question bank or any substantial part of it, or use it to build or train a competing product.

Actual exam content is strictly prohibited

FINRA’s qualification examinations are confidential. Under FINRA Rule 1210.05, reproducing, disclosing, or using actual exam content for study is prohibited; and FINRA can sanction individuals, including barring them from the industry, for violations. Accordingly:

  • Do not submit, post, or send us anything you remember from an actual exam. We do not want it, we will not use it, and we will delete it.
  • Our questions are original works; we never claim they are actual exam questions, and any suggestion otherwise is false.
  • If you believe any content on this site resembles actual exam content, report it to us immediately and we will review and remove it.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section without notice.

Acceptable use

Don’t attempt to disrupt the service, probe or breach its security, access other users’ data, use automated tools to extract content, or misrepresent your affiliation with us. We may suspend accounts engaged in abuse.

The core practice bank is free. If we offer optional paid features, their price, billing terms, and cancellation method will be disclosed clearly before you pay, and additional terms presented at purchase will apply.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep every answer verified against current rules (and we correct errors publicly when we find them) but we do not warrant that the content is error-free or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, for free users, is zero). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; changes take effect when posted here with an updated effective date, and material changes will be flagged on this page. If you keep using the service after a change, that’s acceptance. Questions: support@sieexamprep.com.
